Your continued support for literacy, computer education and work readiness for youth across our region,
has touched the lives of thousands of deserving kids and provided a safe haven for them to learn and grow.
You have given the greatest gift --knowledge & education!
This past year has seen the growth of our TechMasters Summer Academy,
and the addition of LEGO Robotics in our after school progams at community centers and schools in our city.
Our KidCo Tech training program is continuing to "open the eyes" of possibilities to 14 to 21 year olds.
One of our graduates wrote in his thank you card, "You have given me back my dream".
We have partnered with Goodwill and the Buffalo City Mission to sell some of our
reconditioed computers in their thrift stores. This helps give Computers For Children
a greater presence in the community,reach community people that we would not otherwise
reach with low-cost computers, and the profits help support the programs
and operations of all of the partners programs. Another celebration this year includes
receiving our largest in our history computer donation from First Niagara Bank and their Foundation.
We are ever striving to help at-risk kids and their families with technology education and giving them
opportunity for a better future every day. Your support is very much appreciated and
critical for us to continue these efforts to reach these kids.
